Battery powered cart – Capacity 16 t

Morello has designed and constructed a battery powered cart for the automotive sector.

It can transport dies and other heavy materials up to a weight of 16 tons.

This battery powered cart is very compact in spite of its extremely high capacity. Thanks to its reduced dimensions it can maneuver easily around plants even where spaces are very tight.

The front axle can steer ±45° thanks to a hydraulic cylinder controled by an electro-hydraulic control unit.

It has Ackermann type steering: the two steering wheels have different steering angles in order to converge on a single point on the rear axle line and avoid early wear of the wheels.

This battery powered cart is equipment with polyurethane wheels with a diameter large enough to pass over small bumps and holes.

This battery powered cart can be controlled throught a poentziometric radio control. The speed can be continuously adjusted thanks to the potenziometer, allowing movement in millimeters and extremely accurate maneuverability.

As a backup, a wired control panel is also provided that can be connected on either side of the cart for better driving comfort.

The loading bed is covered in a layer of hard plywood. This cover is designed to prevent damage to the materials transported and to prevent slippage.

On each side of this battery powered cart are 2 tie points, useful for tying down the load with cables.

All electric carts can be customized on customer request in each and every detail. Here you can see some examples: battery powered carts
